Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Chikitsa (chikitsa.xyz) to consult doctors, order medicines or use any of our other services. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are and what Chikitsa is
Chikitsa.xyz (the website and apps) is operated by Diabetes Store Limited, Bangladesh. In these terms, "Chikitsa", "we" and "us" mean Diabetes Store Limited.
Chikitsa is an online health service. It lets you book consultations with registered doctors (by video, phone, chat or at their chamber) and order medicines, delivered to your door. Medicines are sold by Diabetes Store Limited under its online pharmacy licence (no. DC-10431).
2. Not for emergencies
Chikitsa is not an emergency service. If you or someone else has a medical emergency (for example chest pain, severe bleeding, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness or thoughts of self-harm), call 999 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent by SMS. Never share that code with anyone, including people who say they are from Chikitsa.
- You must be at least 18 to hold an account. You can add family members (including children) and book or order for them; you are responsible for their information being correct and for having their permission.
- Give true and complete information, especially about health, medicines and allergies. Doctors rely on it.
- You are responsible for everything done from your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
4. Doctors and consultations
- Every doctor's BMDC registration is checked by Chikitsa before they can take bookings. Doctors are independent professionals and are responsible for the medical advice they give.
- An online consultation has limits: a doctor cannot examine you in person. The doctor may advise you to visit a chamber, hospital or laboratory.
- Prescriptions are issued only when the doctor judges it appropriate. Some medicines cannot be prescribed online.
- Please join on time. The consultation is between you and the doctor; Chikitsa does not record calls.
5. Medicines
- Prescription-only medicines are sold only against a valid prescription, which our pharmacist checks before the order is packed. We may refuse or cancel an order if the prescription is unclear, incomplete or not valid.
- Follow the dose on your prescription or the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use medicines prescribed for someone else.
- Delivery times shown are estimates and depend on your area, stock and traffic.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices, doctor fees, service fees and delivery charges are shown before you pay.
- You can pay by card, mobile banking or internet banking through SSLCOMMERZ, directly by bKash, or by cash on delivery where it is offered. Chikitsa never sees or stores your card number or PIN.
- Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Fair use
Do not misuse Chikitsa: no false bookings or orders, no abuse of doctors or staff, no attempts to get prescription medicines without a valid prescription, and no attempts to break into or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Chikitsa accurate, secure and available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Chikitsa is not liable for indirect losses, or for medical decisions made by independent doctors. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the laws of Bangladesh, including consumer rights.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. When we make an important change we will show a notice on the site. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
